New Album – Indie Hair Cut – Starfox

It’s high time we start updating this blog, if you ask me.

A lot of people have been asking us lately about how our album is coming. A lot of people have also been asking about the video of Tyler Griffin’s rat tail getting cut off. So, in response to the inquiries, I decided to satisfy everybody’s needs in one video. Here it is, on the youtube, in HD.

If you didn’t notice, the new song is in the background of the video. We hope you like it. As for the album, we’re almost there! Still have mastering, pressing and a few emails to send out but we’re close. Expect updates and previews over the next few months  :)

On another note, we’ve felt pretty ashamed lately for not sharing more about different artists and groups that we love through this website. So, we’ve decided to start mention more local artists and friends in our blog posts.

Today’s is an awesome band called Starfox. Their a bunch of weirdo-awesome intensity builders that have been dominating Cincinnati the past year. We’ve never really had the opportunity to get to know these guys very well but that hasn’t stopped us from stalking their facebook/soundcloud accounts and enjoying both of their awesome EPs (and some demos too). I am personally moved by their frantic use of delay and fenders. Sadly, however, it seems that this band is going on indefinite hiatus for a while. On a hopeful note though, it appears that at least a few of these guys will be continuing their indie-endeavors in Cincinnati! So, be on the look out for their next project, show Starfox some love while you still can (they have one more show I believe) and pray that what comes next is a Smashing Pumpkins/Silversun Pickups influenced powerhouse.

Thanks for reading guys, be our friends, leave us comments, ask us questions …
